1. Applicant must be an active member of the IAFE
 

2. Apply online no later than August 31.
 

3. Ten (10) travel grants of $500 will be awarded to assist with travel and accommodation expenses for the 2024 IAFE Annual Convention.
 

4. The grant can be used for payment of registration fees and travel associated with the 2024 IAFE Convention
a. Convention registration*
b. Additional convention course fees (i.e., Board Governance, Consumer Protection Program)*
c. Lodging*
d. Transportation*
 

5. The grant amount will be disbursed as reimbursement for fees as noted above upon presentation of the request for same. Receipts to support the request must accompany the request for disbursement. All receipts and disbursement requests must be forwarded to the IAFE by December 15, 2024.
 

6. Grants are awarded for the 2024 IAFE Annual Convention only.
 

7. Grants are non-transferable
 

8. Grant applicants will be evaluated, utilizing a blind judging system, by a committee, and awards will be made based on the following criteria:
a. 65% of the score based upon the financial need of the applicant
b. 35% of the score is based on the essay section of the application.
